Privacy Policy

We take the integrity of the information and systems we maintain very seriously. We have appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected from you so you can feel comfortable and secure with online transactions. If you find property to claim, you will be asked to provide sensitive personal information that permits the eclaims service to verify your information with our internal State of Alaska systems. This identifying information is removed from our public system as soon as the claim has been processed fully.

We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt your personal information during online collection. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online data collection. SSL is the industry standard for encrypting traffic and your browser will confirm that it has made a secure SSL connection to a server in one (or more) of the following ways:

– A web address using “HTTPS” (The extra “S”means it’s a secure connection.)

– Secure sites show a closed padlock emblem you can click on for security details – the most trustworthy sites will have green padlocks or address bars.

– Browsers show warning signs when the connection is NOT secure – like a red padlock, a padlock that is not closed, a line going through the website’s address, or a triangle on top of the padlock emblem.

The electronic claims process must collect sensitive personal information to validate a claim. We protect this data at every point in the process. We will not share your information with any other party. Your data will only be used for claims processing.
